Backpack Lower Body Workout

Get that Lower Body Burning!

Since the previous backpack workout, Backpack Workout for Total Body, was such a great success, I wanted to break it up a little bit and provide a Backpack Lower Body Workout! Because sometimes we just need to break it up a bit! This lower body workout uses the same backpack as the upper body (or you can add/subtract weights as needed), but just hones in the legs a bit more. It has you moving in all directions, forward, backward, and side to side, as well as providing some rotational movements for the core!

Still working at home due to the Covid-19 Stay at Home order and don't have a lot of time to get active? Just keep a weighted backpack next to your chair so you can grab it and take 5 minutes and do some exercises. These require very little space, and you can break up the workout however you want! NO EXCUSES! (sorry, I don't like to yell in all caps, that is super out of character for me unless its an excited EXCLAMATION!).

I spend so much time sitting now that I am at home. I went from 15k steps a day to 5k, so I am trying to do what I can to keep somewhat active. It is HARD. Do not feel bad if you aren't maintaining previous activity levels. It is ok! But that is why I am here, trying to spread some active joy in this otherwise dire situation.
